We have a little announcement to make...

That's right! We've recently begun the process to adopt from Africa, and we couldn't be more excited about it. We've both always considered adoption to be a great way to grow our family someday, and we believe that "someday" is now! So, we've applied with and have been accepted by an agency here in Hawaii who will conduct our home study and have gotten to meet our social worker, who seems very sweet. We're currently gathering all of our paperwork together and had our first meeting with her yesterday. We've also already been in contact with an attorney who should be able to help us on the Africa side of things, so it's very exciting to already have the ball rolling. This is going to be a long process, and undoubtedly one filled with much waiting, but we're beyond thrilled to be on this journey. Baby #2 - well, Toddler #2 - we're working our way to you and we love you already!
