Physically, things are going as well as possible; at my 24 week appointment the belly was 22 cm and baby's heart rate was again around 150 bpm. No real aches or pains, even though I've only been to the chiropractor once during this pregnancy. I'm trying to be more mindful of my posture, especially, so hopefully that's helping. I've gained a little less than twenty pounds so far, so fingers crossed that nothing too crazy happens these last few months. Although, in the end, it'll be what it'll be. The only real symptom I've been having (besides an increased appetite, but for smaller portions more frequently) is heartburn. It's just been the past week or so, consistently, though not as bad as it was with AJ, thankfully. Beyond that, just lots and lots of movement from this little one!
Otherwise, we've just been focusing on getting things done before baby arrives - cleaning, organizing, painting the picnic table, making Christmas stockings. Lots of little things that will make life easier around here once we become a family of four. I was getting a little crazy with my list making and my concern over "getting everything done," so I've been trying really hard to make sure my days are God-focused and not Nicole's-list-focused. Easier said than done, unfortunately, but something so important for me to remember and put into practice.
I'll leave you with a recap of the photos the boy and I have been taking to document this pregnancy:
